Having engaged Maria Filardo (Architect) to design the fabulous and well known mudd, The Spa and Evo Health Club - located within the parliamentary triangle - even after 4 years - both these businesses still look fresh and trendy. Now I have engaged Maria Filardo (Architect) to manage my equestrian property located in Sutton, just 15 minutes from Dickson. Maria posses a natural flair and up to date modern style which clearly defines unique and exquisite results. We are half way through the build and are truly happy with what has been presented to us so far. If you are looking for somebody who listens, can work quickly, a can - do - attitude - then Maria Filardo Architecture has it all. Maria is extremely good with people. She thinks outside the box. People would stop just to take photos of our shop.

Maria helped design our dream house, which can be a daunting task when it comes to managing owner’s expectations. We have some really nice features, such as a entry way lined with Tasmanian Oak beams, lovely large windows to allow plenty of natural light and cross-house ventilation and great views of the local mountain range (the Brindabellas), and a lovely kitchen area with natural stone.

It has been a pleasure working with Maria on the designs for our new house. Maria has a warm and friendly manner and a professional approach to her work. She is very flexible in working around our schedule and meeting with us at times that suit us, including after work and on weekends. Maria has been very enthusiastic about our project and has designed a house featuring both beautiful and unique elements, and also practical solutions for meeting Canberra's changing seasons. Maria has been very accessible and listened to, and was able to incorporate, our needs and requests. She has designed a house that will work very well for us now with three small boys, but that will also work very well ten years from now when they are teenagers!We are very happy with our final designs and are looking forward to working with Maria to turn these into reality.

Maria Filardo was responsible for designing our business including interior and exterior finishes. Ms Filardo was beyond what we imagined with her talents she had to offer, she was extremely ingenious with her unique and very inspirational innovative suggestions. She is a designer of masterpieces, her vision, creativity and passion for her work was exceptional to say the least. Ms Filardo has numerous contacts with major stakeholders and is very respected in the industry which was a huge advantage. Her resourcefulness when choosing products and organising tradesmen always gave us best value and quality for money. She was extremely flexible and was able to juggle numerous tasks at once. Her exemplary customer service and distinctive pioneering talents she has to offer will result in our loyal patronage of all our associates who have witnessed her works in years to come. In our opinion we believe Maria Filardo would have to be one of the greatest Architects and interior designers in Canberra and thoroughly enjoyed our experience in all our dealings with her. We have no hesitations in recommending her to any future prospect clients.

Maria did a fabulous job designing a beautiful and functional extension for us, and she was a pleasure to work with. Maria was also an excellent contract manager. She worked assiduously client-side successfully navigating and resolving a number of tricky issues with our builder. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

I thought I knew what I wanted. And then I met with Maria. Maria listened, challenged me with points of view I had not even considered and presented something that fulfilled all of my requirements (and then some). Now I have a set of carefully considered drawings with several wow factors and I can't wait to bring my dream home to life in 2019.
